A Good Day

For more reasons than you know. But ---

Lots going on again at the Monday meeting
Barbara has finished the quilt made for one of her sons.
Beautiful, traditional blocks

There was a cushion made to go with it. The Hand Quilting is superb!!

Jo and crew are embarking on a project that needs some embroidery completing first. Looking forward to watching this progress.

Beautiful stitching

won't loose those in a hurry!
The All Day meeting in August will see Helen Spence visit again (don't worry, she has bought a Sat Nav!) showing us how to make a "Drunkards Path with Skinny Piping" (NO curved seams) (Photos courtesy of Annette)

These photos were taken on Saturday. Fran has made a quilt as a Ruby Wedding Anniversary present for her friend. It was still a lovely day, but there was quite a breeze going on
This is no good
So, in true Cirque Du Soleil style ,   Fran and Lynda did a bit of a performance          -----
nearly there!!!

 And we snapped this!!!!

Some appliquéd blocks and some made with candlewick embroidery. The symbols all have a special meaning for the (very lucky) recipient.

This will be borrowed back for the Exhibition so you can see it in the flesh. Maybe we can get the girls to do a repeat performance?

Some of the Wednesday ladies were working on their Exhibition cushions

There was a lot of crazy going on

And some were making cup cake pot holders

these would look good in any kitchen
