Full House

At both of our Linus sessions.

With lots of pretty fabrics being used ta make these quilts for the Northants Linus group

 Some quite simple
 And some a bit busier
 Some using scraps

 And some using a theme

And it looks like we had some fun too!

So far 100 quilts of various sizes have been handed over to the Linus Co-Ordinator

With quite a few to be completed I think we have "Done Our Bit" again this year

Well done ladies
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I am not sure if you have seen this one before?
Mrs Beal's lovely DIL had made this using Cath Kidston fabrics and back with smooshy fleece.
She may not be able to see it though as when she tries to access our site she gets a warning the

"this site contains adult content'!!!

A Mixed Selection

Lots of "Pre" Linus prep work going on at group this week

Some were using quite simple designs with fun fabric selections

Some applique and some that I have been told I am not allowed to show till our official Linus day!
Barbara had finished her lovely Scissor Keeper

She has added beads around the edge too.  Tiny work and very pretty.
Lynda (much to her annoyance) had started a pretty ribbon embroidery that she received as a Christmas gift.  I was so good to have our friend back with us again 💝
Kathy and Elaine had been to a box making workshop and were both trying to get their boxes finished
Kathy's

Elaine's
Eileen is tackling the "Be Attitudes" blocks for another quilt
Barbara (must "Be Mad") is sewing teeny tiny hexagons

Ellen is embellishing a plain tee shirt with her button box
very effective - is it to hide a food spill?
We have some super secret sewing going on around the room

I am looking forward to seeing what this years Challenge brings

More hexagons from Jan - but a bit bigger ones here!

Alison has decided it is time to have a clear out of things that she has purchased but will never use, she brought along some of her items for sale.
This seems like a good idea, she had many takers for her unwanted goods.

If you would like a little sales table, speak to a committee member and we will get some dates sorted.

Missing Photos!

I seem to have lost a pile of pics so this will be a short post!!

One of our ladies is organising a Quilt Exhibition in June, at her local church. She also belongs to a Candlewicking Group that meet once a month. They have been working on some very pretty Candlwicked blocks that will make a quilt to be raffled at the Exhibition.

The design is based on Flower Faries

The quilt is almost finished, and is BEAUTIFUL!

Brenda is working on her Log Cabin Wreath that we started in a Wednesday Workshop

Amanda (we think) has finished this Scrappy Quilt as You Go Quilt
very colourful
This is a very pretty Linus offering
We had a new member join us, Linda, and she was working on an oriental applique

Another head start on our Linus quilts, this one from Rosemary

Rosemary has been working hard. This is her completed Giraffe and Jackie is well on the way with hers

I'd like to give you a hug -  there's no 'arm in it

Don't forget that we have our Linus week next week  (20th & 22nd Feb)  We already have had quite a few quilts started and some even finished. Hoping that we can get another bumper crop this year.
