Breeding Like.......

Bunnies!!

We had a lovely day at our Project Day this week.
Most of the ladies joined in to make one of these sweet bunnies, just in time for Easter

All settled down  ready to begin

and the sewing begins
The sewing didn't take many minutes
But the stuffing to a loooooong time ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

But they soon started to take form

Not all of the cuties got completely finished, (I am saying nothing about the amount of talking delaying work๐Ÿ˜ณ)  but they were all well on the way

And I am sure they will all come back to visit next week

A busy day using a great free pattern from Shabby Art Boutique   A big thank you to KerryAnn from Shabby Art Boutique for letting us use her design

I think we all had a really lovely day.

If you missed out, we will be doing this design again on a Wednesday evening (11th April) so you can join in then

Qucik Catch Up

I haven't been able to attend a Wednesday evening session lately but I have been sent a few photos of finished

Jackie has finished another commission quilt

And is now tackling a UFO from a Gail Lawther book

AND has completed a Golden Wedding Gift for a friend

Barbara has finished a beautiful hand pieced Sample Quilt - it was a shame that we do not have any ladies tall enough to keep this beauty off the floor - hence the poor photo - besides that they were giggling too much with references to 50 Shades of Grey๐Ÿ˜.  Some people never grow up ๐Ÿ˜œ

I had the pleasure of delivering a bunch of flowers to Isobel last week.
  These to celebrate her
97th Birthday !!!
 Happy Birthday Isobel xxx

And There's More...

The Linus Quilt count has now gone up to....... drum Roll please
164!!!
Completed labeled and ready to be delivered, and I think that there may be one or two more to add to the tally.  Hopefully they will all be in by next week and then they will
be distributed around the county

And that's not all the ladies have been up to๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Lynda B was keen to show that she does actually finish things ๐Ÿ˜‚
Her Spring version
 This measures 6"square

Lynda E has made a very pretty Needle Case

to store all her packs of needles
 Carol is still making eggs

Lesley has started another quilt - this one needs over 800 Half Square Triangles ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
Marking the sewing line
Kathy is getting on with a Cross Stitch project
Maria sewed in the last of the Linus labels

Jan and Eileen had been going a bit stir crazy on our snowy few days and have cut DOZENS of hexagons ready to sew
Barbara is trying to get ahead for next years Valentines project ๐Ÿ˜‚
Chris was adding the finishing touches to a pencil case that I think will go off to a charity

Shirley was tackling a crochet Elephant
Ellen and Glennys were using the skills that they learned on our Christmas Wreath workshop - but these will be for Easter
Pretty spring colours
Janis will be teaching her Pear Shaped class at another group shortly and was making another sample
