Bit of a chill in the air today, but once we got chatting there was a lot of hot air to keep us cosy.

This, on the other hand, we have been watching with interest..... first I believe it was going to be 'quilt-as-you-go' quilt for a bed and now it has morphed into two faux covers for the end of two single beds.  Great idea and an easy project to bring to group.

We also have a champion in our midst..........yes, little miss 'google eyes' won a 'first' at the

International Doll Makers competition at the weekend.

This is going to be worth watching out for in the future.......I know you can't see it yet, but this will turn into a 3D girl in a ring of flowers..... Allison bought a kit when she attended a workshop at the weekend so she has everything on hand to finish it......she just needs now to find the hours that are needed to complete it.

Just the beginnings

Don't forget next week is the 'all day' at group, so its a day for you to finish the sewing for the exhibition and of course that legendary c*#p  raffle  will be held in the afternoon.

Don't forget that ALL of the quilts using stands at the Exhibition, will need a (temporary) sleeve, minimum 5" deep to allow for the cross rails.  This needs to be done BEFORE setting up day please.
