They've Gone!

Our 2016 contribution to Project Linus have been delivered.

176 in total !!
Yes - you read that right!
176 Linus quilts made by you lovely ladies have been passed (thank you Sue) over to the Linus rep for Northants.  Most of them were incubator size, but there were some larger, older child quilts in the tally.
Well Done, and
Thank You
(and now I can have my spare bed back !)

We will have another Charity day later in the year.
Carol has suggested that those that would like to, could make easy access hospital gowns in fun fabrics.
You can find the details and  pattern here.
If you have any fun fabrics that would make a top and shorts  please consider donating them to be made into a fund pair of PJ's for a child in hospital
Or we could have a "Charity Day" for any Charity that any of you support. Let us know what you would prefer.
Just a reminder that we are making single blocks for Project Linus on a Seaside theme. if you fancy having a go at one of these, a couple of suggested  Patterns are on the noticeboard  or you can find  them here
or you can make your own design, on a seaside theme but the unfinished block MUST measure 12.5 inches

After all that "business" here are a few pics of things that were in progress on Wednesday
Sue had had fun hand stitching these Sunbonnet Sue motifs and has now finished her grand daughters new quilt.

Nikki was layering up her Pink Bows quilt

And Jackie had been given an pile of unfinished  jelly roll blocks and was working out a setting for them. There is loads of extra bits from this project so she is working out a fancy border.
I expect that this will be finished by next week!
