Well Done Carol  👏👏👏👏👏

Well done to June too,  who has finished her first pair of knitted socks

Cake and Quilts - A perfect Combination

We had a great selection of cakes to supply the ladies who attended the Quilter Guild Regional Day at Great Doddington and Piecemakers were acting as tea ladies hostess'

Greta Fitchett was the morning speaker. You will remember that she came to give a talk to our group last September

And Julia Gahagan spoke about her technique of making Miniature quilts in the afternoon.

Not easy to get a photo so I've taken these images from Julia's website - go over and look at her fantastic gallery
We had some of the cakes left over so a feast was had on Monday !

Mrs Beal was busy as usual making patches for Linus quilts

 As was Eileen
Jan had a stash of blocks made for a Christmas Quilt  and she is on the last ones so we should see that soon

Toni has a pretty selection of fabrics in her Hexi's

Ena was making Scandi houses which needed some flowers added, she was going to sew on some glittery ones but they are too large so she will have to get her needle and thread out

Alison is working on her healing quilt.  I have seen a finished one of this.  It will be stunning

Janis is working on a Challenge piece from another group   She is working on the Nursery Rhyme "Ring a Ring of Roses"
A pocket full of Posies

And this is most certainly a Ta Dah!! Moment

Over several year we have seen the progress of Therese rag rug waistcoat

 Well it is finished

 And it weighs......

A TON!!!  but she will be very warm this winter.  Well done Therese 👏👏👏
