Just Popped In!

I am supposed to be working today, but just popped in to pick up some bloggy stuff

You will remember the picture of Christine adding 100's of tiny beads to the neckline of a plain T shirt? (picture here)
looks like sprinkles on a cup cake

 Well it's done!!

Lynda is making a "Dorothy" costume for a grand-daughter's school event. As usual Granny gets a weeks notice!! (actually, that's quite a bit of notice - it's normally for "TOMORROW"!!!)

Did she get Red shoes too?
We had a little bit of English Paper Piecing (EPP)

such pretty colours

Di was appliquéing a Rose of Sharon block  - she loves to work with pink and green.
nice selection of fabrics

And Eileen has been making some needle cases. Her glasses as you can see have been rested on the table so maybe much chatting was going on too?

a popular project
Kay has been busy knitting mittens
these look like Dennis' sister
As well as stitching a wall hanging for her home.
Japanese style

Jan is making a "page" for a book project with another group she goes to. This is July's page
lots of sequins
Sue has been really busy. This is a quilt for herself. It's a scrappy one and she has had it long arm quilted too, it's really lovely.

unusual layout for a Dresden block
Muriel, meanwhile, is working on some Foundation Paper Pieced Blocks (FPP)

Brenda is completing some appliqué blocks that will be pockets in a Projects Bag, again at another group she attends.

And here are some of the finished and not quite finished Linus quilts that will be handed over later this month.

a finished I Spy
machine quilting

neutral incubator size

Therese' first quilt "1600" style
And a selection of Scrappy Trip Around's

And then we have ............

Well I won't name her here, but ........ is having a bit of Physio from Angie after trying to carry one of the tables by herself. It's not a pretty sight but --- she thought that her back was going to be a real problem but apart from a bit of soreness she was as right as rein.

Angie is available for consultations --- at a ridiculously high fee :)))))

do as you are told! Really, she has not expired!

So just remember ladies, take extra care when putting those tables away !
