Yes, today was our August 'all day' and Lesley had worked hard on a Table Centre for us all to try. So out came the machines and Lesley changed into Miss Whiplash....we had just about sorted out which thread to use when she started giving instructions.....there was going to be no slacking today. Actually the morning worked really well, and by the time Lesley had to leave we were all well on our way with our table centres.

It was Angie and Carol's birthday, and Caroline's 40th wedding anniversary so it was a Feast day Yeah!! We needed a sugar burst after working so hard.... well that's my excuse.

Of course not all of us need or want a table centre, so there is always something of interest going on in the room.

Another successful day all round I would say.
Don't forget there will be no meeting next week as its August Bank Holiday

DeleteThought we would be under pressure when the 'Tutor' asked if we`d got the squares together at 10 o`clock. We were still brewing the coffee! Fortunately she slowed down to our pace- 'near stop ' in cock-up corner.
