Bags of Bags

We had a lovely day making one of our Carol's work-bags. Really useful size for all your sewing bits and bobs, and even takes a pair of knitting needles

Now this did include inserting a ZIP
well this looks good
AND a bit of unpicking from some

Try again!
But under Carol's very patient guidance, we ended up with a very good selection of finished items

This little bag has a removable insert that has lots of little pockets too, just right for all those bits and bobs we can't do without

already full!

the finished bag
Thank you Carol, from all the ladies. A very good day!

Val had a helping hand to make cut the wedges for a spicy spiral table runner

nice colours
There was some appliqué being added to a Christmas Stocking

Some very cute hexi's being pieced

Ena was (still) finishing her table-topper (original post   here)

it is lovely though

and remember these ?

Well this is the final product - Pretty aren't they?

Lynda has been working - for quite a while - on this beautiful heirloom embroidered outfit for this little doll
sits right in her palm
And Angie has finished a cushion that was given as a gift

love hoe the design interlocks the Angel in the heart
Beautiful embroidery --- and a FINISH!!   Well done Angie

  3. I am glad everyone enjoyed making them. I did need a drink and a lie down in a darkened room afterwards!! Seriously it was a good day and I think most people had nearly finished their bags. Well done everyone and thanks for your good wishes.
