Mondays Offerings

There was an awful lot of Cross Stitch and Embroidery projects and some knitting being done at group today so not so many photos of patchwork and quilting projects to see this week.

However, Hazel was busy hand quilting a pretty pink sampler that has been on the go for ..... well, a number of years.

Barbara was making some Japanese folded squares. I think that this will become a bag shortly
Pauline has finished another page in the Farmer Joe's Quiet Book. This has Velcro strips, buttons, poppers and zips for a child to play with.

We did have several Hexagon projects going on

Pam's tiny ones

Brenda's are a bit bigger

And Ellen has acquired some pre- cut Liberty ones in various sizes. They are old, and they are lovely.

Brenda was also working on a Perpetual Calendar that she has been making with another group that she attends.
lots if twinkle on this
Linda is working on an abstract piece, it is fabric and felt and rather interesting.
we will see this on completion

We will be Exhibiting our World War One Challenge (those blogged about here ) projects in Brenda's summer house during Higham Open Gardens

  1. Sometimes it's nice to bring small projects to group and have a stitch and chat with out having to concentrate too much on the size of seams or where the next bit goes, but sure there will be lots going on at home. The open gardens sounds brilliant.
