Bargelo Round Up

We had lots of Bargello cushion finishes and lots more that are "almost there"

I think it was a fun exercise o try out a new technique and now we can tackle a more adventurous Bargello project with more confidence.

this one cause a bit of trouble as the fabrics had a very similar colorway

Some great examples, don't you think?

Our youngest member Chloe (sorry Phoebe, younger than you!)  has completed her first quilt, and she has done a great job Well done Chloe!!
beautifully hand quilted!
We had some scrappy log cabin squares
 Muriel was sewing hexagons

Gill has finished a jumper for her husband (no photo as he was wearing it!) and is now knitting a hat

Our newest (and oldest member at 94) was embroidering a pretty piece

Ena was giving a sneaky peak at her April Mini Mania Challenge
very neat
We had some (very early or very late) Christmas sewing in one corner
 Sunbonnet Sue
 And some hand Quilting

As well as a very pretty little girls outfit

Shirley was displaying her newly crocheted little girls hat

And Sue had her Bow Quilt complete
Hayley had used a panel to make a baby quilt gift
Sue was wrestling with some bonded applique
And Amanda brought in her finished clock

Susan had her very neatly embroidered Needle-case completed and filled

So another productive month

We will not be meeting on Monday May 2nd (Bank Holiday)

Wednesday's meeting will be as normal.

Hope the sun shines so we can get in the garden but if not, I am sure that you will find something to do!
