Hen Night

The Wednesday night ladies were on a 'Hen' 🐔🐔🐔night led by Jackie. 

The ladies arrived with their work at various stages; 

 

Carol had almost completed hers, but then she was making four.

 

 

 

Chloe was tracing her shapes onto Bondaweb, 

 

 

 

others had the shapes cut out and only needed to press them onto the fabric and soon the sewing machines were all hard at work, 

 

 

 

 

 making place mats or table runners.

Bernice had attached braid

 

 

 

 

 

Linda's hens were for a cushion

 

 

Gail's son had requested a larger mat

 

 

 

 

Sally was sorting her shapes.

Maggie lost an eye! 

We found the 'eye' when we were clearing up.

What a wonderful array of hens and many thanks to Jackie for leading this session.

Brenda showed us her quilt which is for a friend who asked her to make it for a new baby
